You might want to read the date on the article...
- cokebot9000 11y agoI can vouch that that there was plenty of Christmas left in my timezone when I uploaded the tarballs and posted the release notice. :)
- sampo 11y agoIn about half of the countries in Europe, Christmas is generally taken to mean the Christmas Eve, i.e. the 24th.
- cygx 11y agoColloquially, sure. More properly, that's 'Christmas Eve', 'Heiligabend', ..., ie the day before Christmas; the 'first day of Chrismas' ('erster Weihnachtsfeiertag') is the 25th. So there :p
- dragonwriter 11y agoTraditionally, Christmas starts on Christmas Eve (and ends quite a lot later, on Epiphany, or thereabouts.)
