Remote work as a .NET developer?
I'm an experienced full-stack .NET developer living in the Netherlands and I'm looking for a job. There are plenty of jobs here, and they're generally very easy to get, but I'm having a very hard time finding _interesting_ jobs in my area. They're mostly boring, big consultancy firms or small companies doing irrelevant, non-challenging stuff.
I'd like to work on exciting projects, being challenged, building things that scale, working on projects that actually matter and that are trying to achieve meaningful change.
Right now I'm doing some freelance gigs, mostly cryptocurrency related, but I would like to have a full time job as well. I figured that it might be a very nice change for me to find a remote job because it vastly increases my reach and I may be exposed to much more interesting companies. I feel that it doesn't really matter _where_ I work, I'm very flexible and can usually align a big portion of my working hours with the office hours in, say, the US. Communication has never been a problem now that we have awesome tools such as Hangouts and Github.
I was wondering if anyone knows interesting US-based companies that are open to remote .NET developers, or where I can find them? I searched StackOverflow for remote jobs in the bay area, but found 0 results. LinkedIn does yield a lot of results, but it's kind of hard to filter them.
