The article seems a bit simplistic in the way it draws conclusions. Still I wonder why so many companies picked the most counterintuitive solution. Edit: I've come to believe that enterprise customers are likely to have different, more strict requirements compared to SMB customers. This is probably why, for enterprise sales, it could make more sense to approach the pricing part in a more traditional way.
