Can you upload a new baseband if your device is rooted?
- vox_mollis 11y agoA moderately loose-fitting tinfoil hat would assume that a rooted phone connecting only via wifi would bypass any remote exploit opportunities afforded by the baseband+(gsm|cdma) radio. But yes, a properly fitted hat would assume the entire device is unusable.
- chinathrow 11y agoI agree, WiFi firmware is next up in the list of untrusted components.
