Here's a great rule of thumb: don't write bad reviews. If a place sucked, oh well. People have bad days. Stop acting like a wannabe gourmet and shitting all over people. I'll only consider a bad review if you give me food poisoning. Cooking your food thoroughly isn't hard. ... Or if your service personally lost me real money. Then it's a legit "beware."
