- sockopen 11y agoalso no SSL certificate
- mirimir 11y agoRight, so intermediaries can see all content. And knowing your IP address, nothing is anonymous.
- xojoc 11y agoBy anonymous I mostly mean that I don't require your name or email, there are no ads and I don't keep logs. I will add a let's encrypt SSL cert though for more anonymity.
- mirimir 11y agoCool. It'd also be good to clarify what you mean by "anonymous". Even Tor doesn't claim to be anonymous.
- xojoc 11y agoWhat I mean with "anonymous" is on the homepage. From typed.pw > Write anonymously. No logs. No tracking. No name. No email. Isn't clear enough? Should I add more details? What do you think would be a better word instead of "anonymous"?
- mirimir 11y agoIt's just that "anonymous" is such a loaded word. And many users still have magical faith in Internet anonymity. I would warn people about the need to obfuscate IP address. Maybe point them to https://www.privacytools.io/ https://www.privacytools.io/.
- xojoc 11y agoWill a let's encrypt SSL certificate be ok? Previously I didn't have the money but now that it's gratis I have no excuses.
- contrahax 11y agoLike this hack: http://typed.pw/a/652 http://typed.pw/a/652
- xojoc 11y agoI had an old version of pandoc which didn't support pandoc -f markdown-raw_html now I updated it manually. Take a look at http://typed.pw/a/652 http://typed.pw/a/652 and you'll see that it doesn't work anymore.
