I would love to see which IP holders receive what portion for their IP.
- the_mitsuhiko 11y agoThat seems very low. I wonder if they classify some costs i would expect there into a different category.
- mschuster91 11y agoMost likely the usual suspects: MPEG LA (for hardware video decoding), Microsoft (FAT patents), Google Play license, reference designs for the hardware, WiFi/BT/GSM licenses and patents, ARM and others for the CPU design.
- javajosh 11y agoI find it astonishing that you find it astonishing that we live in a society that expects people to pay for IP. Perhaps you are one of those that think that want to end IP entirely?
