You are justifying people taking advantage of passionate coders. > and you'll be doing your start-up coworkers a favor by leaving So people fighting for what they are worth is detrimental to coworkers now? Maybe you and your coworkers need a reality check if you feel resentment towards one of your coworkers fighting for fair compensation.

When did I say it's OK to take advantage of anyone? Of course it's not. All I said is I'm willing to take a $10k-$20k pay cut to work at a start-up I find fulfilling instead of going to work at Google. Why do you think this trade is unfair?
