This implies that human emotions would be considered a problem by AI's. What kind of neural network behavior would stimulate the removal of learned emotions? Assuming we've progressed to the point where an AI can remember the reasons it learns something, what would be an appropriate reason to remove learned emotional range?
- itburnswheniit 11y agoProblem only in the sense that it's an "instability" in humans recognized by a sufficiently advanced AI. Instead of needing to evolve to the point of understanding emotions, all it has to understand is how to get around when humans are being irrational. I suspect emotional range may be the last thing to develop because it's not technically needed to evolve past the point of human intelligence.
