If you do this, make sure you're using something which can do tempo scaling. mpv can do it, PocketCasts can do it and it makes 1.5-2x speed workable.

- furyofantares 11y agoHave you found things that don't? I didn't think to mention it because it hasn't been an issue for me in years, it seems to be implemented everywhere, including the default app on iOS, at least if I understand what you're referring to correctly.
- ultramancool 11y agoRegular mplayer doesn't have tempo scaling, nor did the shitty mp3 player I used to use for podcasts, it simply sped up the audio playback. It is pretty common now though I suppose.
