- Alex3917 11y agoDropbox got into YC because of their Show HN submission, and they got a lot of their early users from Digg.
- sillysaurus3 11y agoNot really. Dropbox got into YC for the same reason they beat all ~11 established competitors: They executed very well on a good idea.
