Just checked back on this post from yesterday. The reason I didn't pose it to SO is that 1. I still do associate HN with a strong Lisp community. 2. It's more of a question of opinion versus a technical question itself and figured the discussion could be interesting for the site. I also didn't give too much thought as to where I was posting it.
