Yikes. I'm so grateful that I can work from home. I commuted in and around Boston for many years. It's just an exhausting, draining experience. Even a crummy, poorly maintained subway system is better than sitting in traffic jams for 30-45 minutes at a stretch. On the train/bus, you can at least close your eyes, or read a book.
