So, what I took from the article is unsubstantive? That's a matter of opinion, I'm sure. If any American got offended with my comment maybe they should take it with the "journalist" who wrote the article.
- dang 11y agoYes, the bar for a good HN comment is much higher than just "what I took from the article". The question is whether what you "took" is anything others can learn from, and "Americans are disgusting pigs" is at the bottom of that barrel. (Nothing to do with Americans taking offence, btw. Anyone who cares about HN would take offence.)
