- muzz 11y agoThis is more like "voting with accounting". The non-accounting footprint of the corporation-- the location of its employees, its factories, etc-- is largely unchanged.
- gozur88 11y agoPeople would vote with their feet, too, except they're heavily penalized for doing so. If you renounce your US citizenship there's a one-time tax of 40% of your all your US assets and the US claims the right to tax you for the next ten years. Subjects, not citizens.
