Having a look around on my Windows system running Avast, I don't appear to have the same issue at the moment, but I have repeatedly of late found myself seeing security warnings in Firefox which I'd chalked up to my spotty 4G connection. Looks like I need to keep an eye on it, which pisses me off because if this is true of the Windows version, it means at this point there simply isn't a Windows AV solution that isn't complete garbage from one standpoint or another.
