When you factor in the time and effort savings from the extensive polish/integration work that Apple does, plus the 'style' bonus value, Apple really isn't that much more expensive. Hell, the iPhone is only a whopping $0.25 more than the Droid over the 2-year life of the contract. The iPhone is easily $0.25 more awesome than the Droid!
