God, I am so tired of all this. The things these companies build are inscrutable. Building your own community with these tools with your own values is impossible. I'm sure they have their reasons, but what I wouldn't give for some stable infrastructure. Far too much ego in these services, far too little service. That's the point of a service, right? To do what someone else needs, not what you think they need? Sigh. I'm sure I'll perk up in a day or two, but these companies only seem to help me out when our interests are aligned. Why I should expect anything else, I don't know. But it saddens me all the same.
