It's just far less likely. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/statistics.html http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/statistics.html Simple division (63% of HIV infections / 2% of population) / (25% of HIV infections / 98% of population) suggests gay sex is about 120x as risky as straight sex.
