Same for me, except that sometimes that last step happens 5 or ten minutes later, in the middle of a meeting or something. The worst part is that a button labelled "pause" can trigger an unpause action. It should really remember what the button said at the time it was pressed. I would mind a lot less if I happened to be playing audio 10 minutes later and it randomly paused due to an earlier press of the pause button.
