- throwawaymaroon 11y agoYou should also bear in mind though that these values are not a guarantee even if the founder's shares pay off in the 'high' range. There are a lot of ways for investors and founders to squeeze value away from employees. Your equity options are not the same quality as the big buckets of options: they are employee options.
