Yes, I'm going to have to agree with this. OOP is just one paradigm. But what has changed from the years this article was written is that OOP is not touted a panacea. Back when I learned to code, OOP was a synonym for "good". That's why I'm saying no. OOP is no longer the hyped as it once was.
