Ironically (in the context of the paragraph preceding that quote), that is a characteristically Christian notion.
- balabaster 11y agoThere are many things that are supposedly characteristically Christian, in the sense of that being that's what's preached by Christianity but are clearly not practiced by large swathes of people who identify themselves as belonging to that religion.
