Sisyphus Kinetic Lego Sculpture
- DiabloD3 11y agoNow that, my friends, is art.
- tajen 11y agoAwesome! Omg there's also a particle accelerator. It seems like Lego is encompassing the trend of crowdsourcing with ideas.lego.com, but I'm disappointed it's not a decentralized model where the everyone could sell their own construction and get a margin from it.
- johansch 11y agoMaybe you should pitch that to the Lego Group. Stranger things have happened. (I agree.)
- shaftway 11y agoThey do. I think the originator of the idea gets a 5% profit share. Edit: 1% - https://ideas.lego.com/guidelines#anchor-29 https://ideas.lego.com/guidelines#anchor-29
- steve19 11y agoIt looks dead. Projects which hit the required 10k supporters 18 months ago are still "being reviewed" but Lego. You are right, they should allow anything to be sold if a certain number of pre-orders can be met and copyrights cleared.
- jerrysievert 11y agofar from dead, lego releases a couple of projects about every 6 months. the latest is a doctor who set, that is just about to be released. it takes a couple of months to review, and usually they (lego) are active in the comments section.
- jacquesm 11y agoThey did something like that and got totally killed by the order volume.

Lego can't even allow an open world MMO with the risk of players building penises. They would never risk someone selling penis kits through their website.
- mattnewport 11y agoThe working combination safe is very cool too: http://jkbrickworks.com/working-combination-safe/ http://jkbrickworks.com/working-combination-safe/
- icebraining 11y agoI really like his version of the useless machine as well, really playful :)
- thomasfl 11y agoWow. I've always wondered how a combination safe works.
