Yes, they deploy multiple times per day, but this is usually only a subset of the entire application. For example, it might be that the Messaging Component gets deployed today but not tomorrow etc. It feeds into the whole CI/CD, DevOps culture where teams are responsible for independently deploying their piece of the application as often as they feel the need.
