I view this as a very short term problem (i.e. the artificial effect on the planet through our own doing.) And I'm not saying that it isn't a problem and that we shouldn't be doing anything. The planet naturally goes through warm and cool times. There's little we can do to mitigate that, we'll experience another ice age eventually.
