- efng 11y agoIt is. Per Zillow, the median home value in San Francisco is $1,117,300. For the rest of the USA it is $188,900. If you are willing to drive 2 hours each way to work, and live in the middle of nowhere, you can pay the low price of $630,000 in Gilroy. Things are crazy here. If you don't live here it can be hard to understand.
