Human brains are severely limited so the mathematics they invent is severely limited and everything new are small, understandable steps that build on huge piles of proven mathematics. A computer can create entirely new huge, complex ideas we wouldn't understand because they don't depend on making small steps.

- anentropic 11y agois there any evidence that a computer has ever created a new 'idea' ?
- bendbro 11y agoIf human generated books, artwork, and behavior qualify as new ideas, why don't computer generated things also qualify? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCPzYM7B338 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCPzYM7B338 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbb08ifTzUk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cbb08ifTzUk
