Quite. What does it matter to an advertiser selling cars if I also indicate that I like holidays to El Salvador, Dove washing liquid, and videos about giraffes? They will still think that I want to buy a car.
- a3n 11y agoApparently it matters a lot, because they pay for that information.
- feelix 11y agoIt'll make no difference if you do it. If say 30% of people do it, then it'll make their databases of who clicked on what quite worthless. Unfortunately I don't see it reaching critical mass without providing some direct benefit to the user.
