Yep. I think that science is finding that "parasite" as we've understood it is prejudicial and covers up many of the benefits we had no idea these things provided. Some of them filter heavy metals in sharks. Some of them prevent hay fever or other allergies. They seem to have a huge impact on incidence of autoimmune disorders. They also do plenty of unpleasant things!
