Absolutely right (to whoever downvoted you) - go explore! I've trekked with my bicycle to forgotten orchards and overgrown corners of parks and riverbanks, and found plenty. Even roadsides are laden with wild produce. Some less-trafficked verges are quite OK for foraging.
