I use Quod Libet, which is a great program for listening to and browsing your music collection. It also comes with Ex Falso, which is a separate program that's great for organising your music collection. If I'm ever putting music onto an iPod, I use gtkpod... it's just a pity that it's such an unstable program (gtkpod).
