- vanderZwan 11y agoDidn't Guy Steele's "growing a language" also start with the 1000 most common words?
- pcmonk 11y agoIIRC he started with one-syllable words, but same idea.
- oneeyedpigeon 11y agoIf I am right, I think he did but just with words with just one sound. FTFY ;-)
- bitwize 11y agoI think it was more inspired by Munroe's brushes with Simple English Wikipedia, but that's a fantastic one too.
