We hope to keep the nanobox desktop tool free and open source. We plan on offering a "cloud" version of the tool (https://nanobox.io/cloud/ https://nanobox.io/cloud/) that will use nanobox desktop to help streamline deploying production code to a provider of your choice.

Thanks Steve. After looking into your company a bit it's clear that you all have been building your infrastructure to support PagodaBox for some time. Thanks for open sourcing so many tools https://nanobox.io/open-source/ https://nanobox.io/open-source/ . I had never heard of anything you all made until today.
