I have nothing but good things to say about the pypy/cffi team. I have been maintaining a project using it for about a year and a half, and we've had great experiences reporting bugs to and getting help from Armin (the maintainer of cffi, a pypy guy). Distributing cffi libraries that depend on each other can still be somewhat of a snarl, but last I looked there are a lot of remedies for this being discussed. Chapeau to the team!
