Pony looks nice, but unless it's something revolutionary I just don't have the energy or patience to be part of the first wave of anything new. That's why I'm not, at this moment, using Rust or Nim in production. I want a mature toolset, a large, cohesive standard library, a large, active ecosystem, etc. Go only recently reached this stage. Node.js has been there for some time. Elixir is there thanks to leveraging Erlang.
