Very strong? Some friends and I bought a nondescript looking, average-priced baijiu from a liquor store while we traveled in China. I would describe the taste like one part everclear and one part shitty homemade mead, steeped together with toenail clippings. I spat it onto the floor and dry heaved. That was five years ago and I still feel queasy thinking about it. It will likely be another decade before I could stomach trying it again.
