The "interesting new phenomenon" is the rise of violence in the last decade due to the amount of Islam-crazed individuals that we are letting in. I don't see how gun control is remotely related to this.
I wonder how will Merkel and those similar to her defend their stance of letting everything in. I am sad, really sad, sad to see we are allowing this to happen to us. Sad to see our beautiful European cities degenerating into slums, where you can't be calm having a walk at night, where I have to tell my girlfriend to bring an anti-rape pepper spray with her because I can't be relaxed with her walking around a big city. http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/6527/migrants-rape-germany http://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/6527/migrants-rape-germany
The only thing that can happen is that a new ethnic cleanser will rise to power and some people will mourn asking themselves how did we reach this point again. I will not be one of those mourning.

- Yetanfou 11y agoAbout 10% of the immigrants will end up in crime according to the German police. 15% of those will end up committing multiple crimes: https://www.bdk.de/der-bdk/aktuelles/der-kommentar/asylpolitik-heute-hu-morgen-hott-europa-hat-keinen-plan https://www.bdk.de/der-bdk/aktuelles/der-kommentar/asylpolit... "...Die bisherigen Erkenntnisse aus dem Polizeialltag zeigen des Weiteren, dass rund 10% der Asylbewerber strafrechtlich auffällig werden und Taten aus dem Bereich der Eigentums-, Gewalt- und Drogendelikte begehen. Ca. 15% der Täter fallen dabei mehrfach auf..." in English: "...previous experience from daily police practice shows that around 10% of asylum seekers will end up committing crimes like theft, violence and drug-related offences. Around 15% of those will [commit multiple crimes]..."
- AnimalMuppet 11y agoI believe that jMiles' point is this: When a shooting happens in the US, everyone[1] says that it's the fault of the US's crazy gun laws - that just about anyone can have a gun. When it happens in France, though, it can't be the fault of the US's gun laws. [1] For non-stringent values of "everyone".
