- dajohnson89 11y agoYes, but the town wouldn't exist at all were it not for the coal-extraction industry. I think that was the point being made.
- mikeash 11y agoWhich just goes to show that mining coal at the exclusion of all other economic activity in pursuit of the almighty dollar doesn't mean you'll have any at the end.
