You claim that basic income can't possibly work, and that unemployment increasing over time is nonsense, but you've not provided any reason why. How is basic income so similar to communism it should be written off without trying?
- PlzSnow 11y agoI didn't say Basic Income should be written off without trying. I said it should be tried so that it can fail and be seen to be utopian nonsense. I didn't say that unemployment increasing over time was nonsense, I said that blaming automization was nonsense.

- scrollaway 11y agoI thought I recognized your name so I looked at your post history. Half your posts have the word "nonsense" in them - it's present a total of 7 times on the first page alone, in forms such as "extremist nonsense", "absurd nonsense", "utopian nonsense"... You sure like to call whatever you disagree with nonsense. Common theme in every single one of your post is you provide zero backing for any of it. You're just sitting at your chair on your front porch and yelling at passer-bys.
- PlzSnow 11y agoSometimes people post absurd political-extremist stuff on HackerNews; it's part of the leftfield/futurism/tech/niche here. I'm free to point out the absurdity of such postings.
