  I, too, look forward to a day when I'm at work, and am surrounded by people mumbling at their computers and waving their arms. No, sir, that won't be distracting in the least.

    I am reminded of the day when a co-worker of mine had an ergonomic evaluation done. When the ergonomist(?) saw what contorted way he typed (and hunt and peck at that), which apparently he had been doing forever, she could only suggest he might try voice recognition software. Thankfully he didn't take her advice.
