On my third year of membership and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fastmail. Only ever had one issue (a small bug to do with some very specific domain config) - their support team emailed me back straight away, it was escalated to the devs, and fixed almost immediately. Now with CalDAV and CardDAV support it's a no-brainer.
