I believe the UT people are also behind the US Navy's railgun project. They also developed a railgun howitzer in the 90's. Perhaps that qualifies them as "government".
- aidenn0 11y agoI didn't realize they were behind the Navy one too; it would be interesting to hear why they switched from flywheels to capacitors for power delivery.
