- VeejayRampay 11y agoThey're not zero emission vehicles because the American electricity industry is medieval in its insistence on coal mining, though I think it's somewhat unfair to pin that on Tesla.
- raisedbyninjas 11y agoBut you have a choice of who your electric provider is and many offer different plans one or more of which is differentiated by the power source.
- toomuchtodo 11y agoA coal powered electric vehicle is still cleaner than one burning petroleum. Central emissions controls, electrical efficiency, all that jazz.
