    I imagine single founders are more likely to click a topic entitled "are you a single founder"

      that's true. Maybe it just needs to be re-worded "poll: single founder, or >1 co-founders ?"

      On the other hand, each single-founder company results in 1 vote for "yes", while each 2-founder company results in TWICE AS MANY votes for "no"...

  I don't think so. More likely the investor driven cult of must-have-multiple-founders has distorted people's perception.
