- pjc50 11y agoI assume he's referring to https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-online-payment-service-debit-card-payments https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-online-payment-servic... Of course that only applies to self-assessment bills paid through the online system. You can still post them a cheque if you like. The vast majority of tax is paid through business bank transfer for PAYE or VAT settlement.
