I've always viewed and used hearts / stars / likes as a way of saying 'I have nothing else to add to this conversation.'
- Amorymeltzer 11y agoIndeed. One of my main uses for emoji is the thumbs-up/heart/etc., likewise signalling "Over-and-out." And yes, I realize that, technically, "over-and-out" is incorrect, it should be just "out".
