Easy to dodge the paywall: 1) copy the part of the url containing the story's title 2) paste just that part into the URL bar (to do a Google search) 3) the story will come up as the first hit, click on it, boom, no more paywall This works for quite a few major sites. (WSJ, New Yorker, etc.)
