Ok. I'm leaning towards the passenger here.
One of the reasons people call for an Uber are because they're drunk - which is good. This has been touted as a good thing in Uber's early days.
The driver could have been gentler than provoke a drunk guy.
I'm open to incoming criticism against my point of view.

- merraksh 11y agoA drunk guy in a back seat is always better than behind the wheel, I agree. But there is a limit. The driver could have been gentler than provoke a drunk guy. That's akin to saying "the girl got raped? Well, she shouldn't have worn a miniskirt". Being less than gentle to a customer is not a crime, hitting someone is.
- uberer 11y agoComparing hitting someone with rape is stretching it far fetched. An argument for arguments sake....
