Indeed both Google and MS have a better AI. All evidence suggests that next phase shift in AI will come from deep, recurrent networks. The article points our why that future is not looking good for Apple.
- yarou 11y agoDeep learning and neural networks are quickly becoming the fizzbuzz of AI. I'm surprised nobody talks about topics such as simulated annealing and genetic algorithms. AI is not just limited to deep neural networks.
- eli_gottlieb 11y agoGenetic algorithms were hot in the '90s. Then it turned out they kinda sucked.
